Option A
Refresh what you have.
Your current WordPress shop cloned onto the new address you mentioned, brought up to date and redesigned. Same hosting, same seven products.
€999fixed, no VAT added
Half to start, half at launch (webs.ie/legal/terms-of-service)
What you get
- The shop copied onto the new address and there brought up to date: WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor and the theme on current versions. The old shop keeps trading until the switch.
- The pages redesigned: new layout, your photos placed, your text refreshed. Home, the story, branded packs for venues, contact, and the shop.
- The seven products kept with their prices; the checkout kept as it is (card and cash on delivery).
- The small things that hold the site back today fixed: the company name in the footer, the missing page descriptions for Google, the two Google counters cut to one.
- We start with the photos you already have; better ones can be added later, and a photographer is optional and priced before you decide.
What stays the same
- Your Hosting Ireland account and your email. The old kidsfunpads.com keeps working and sends people to the new address.
- No new monthly cost. You pay Hosting Ireland exactly as today.
Time
About three weeks from the deposit, my estimate. The exact launch date goes in the one-page scope.
The honest limits
- It is the same engine. The plugins will need updating again every few months, by you or by someone you pay; Irish care plans run €49 to €199 a month plus VAT (wpmaintain.ie, May 2026).
- A three-year jump in plugin versions can break a page. I do the work on a copy, so the live shop keeps trading, but some pages may need rebuilding as part of the job.
- The look depends on the photos more than on the layout. We start with what you have and can add better ones later.
Option B
New site and shop on Shopify.
A new site with three or four pages and a new shop, built on Shopify, on the new address you mentioned. Nothing carried over except your products and your words.
€1,990fixed, no VAT added
Half to start, half at launch (webs.ie/legal/terms-of-service)
What you get
- Home, the story, branded packs for venues, contact. New design, your photos placed, your text.
- The shop: the seven products moved over, delivery rules, tax settings, order emails and the policy pages set up.
- Your address connected. The old kidsfunpads.com keeps working and sends people to the new site, so nothing you have printed goes to waste.
- One hour with me on the Shopify admin, so you can change a price, a photo or a page yourself, from a laptop or the Shopify app on your phone.
- We start with the photos you already have; better ones can be added later, and a photographer is optional and priced before you decide.
- After launch, small questions by email are answered; bigger changes are priced before I do them.
What changes
- Shopify keeps the software updated; there are no plugins to keep current. Your prices, photos and words stay yours to change.
- Your Hosting Ireland account stays as today for your email, so that cost does not change.
Time
About four weeks from the deposit, my estimate. The exact launch date goes in the one-page scope.
The honest limits
- Shopify has a monthly fee for as long as the shop runs: Basic is €32 a month, or €24 a month billed yearly, plus 2% and €0.25 per card order on Shopify's own card processing (shopify.com/ie/pricing, 9 Sep 2026). You pay Shopify directly.
- The domain is yours to buy or move; I set it up. If you need a new one, a .ie is €3.95 ex VAT for the first year at Hosting Ireland, then their standard renewal, which I confirm in the scope (hostingireland.ie/domain-names, 9 Sep 2026).
- A new admin, simpler than WordPress; the hour with me covers what you need day to day.
